The programme is designed to help develop emerging artists and designers who wish to work with ceramics. Here they have the opportunity to learn intensively and comprehensively about ceramic processes in practice and to test themselves in professional and entrepreneurial terms in order to build a successful and sustainable creative career.
In return for helping out in the Majolika Keramik Studio, participants receive a co-working studio space and materials and firing at cost price. They can also participate in seminars and workshops at Majolika. Furthermore, they have the opportunity to sell their products/works of art in the shop.
The programme provides a platform for networking and learning within a dynamic creative organisation of the ceramic art, craft, and design industries.
The Associateship lasts 1 year and can be extended for another year. At the end of the programme, participants have the opportunity to participate in a final exhibition at the Majolika Gallery.
